Easter Trip: Bath

River Avon in Bath

The photo above was taken during my easter trip in Bath. It features the River Avon with the Pulteney Bridge at the far end. This will be the last of the series for my easter trip. I hope all of you had enjoyed it as much as I did.

Ah Bath! We went there last June and spent a week in Lumpley Stoke close by - travelling around the whole area in our hired car - wonderful trip! Loved Bath with all it's history and stone buildings etc.

Hi all,

Thanks for all the nice comments. I hope all of you had enjoyed my blog.

Alcy: I am very happy to know that you had fun here. Thanks again!

kitty: May be I chose the right day to be at Bath. Haha... But then again, it is a lovely place.

Grace and Bradley: cream and Scones are great! I love them. Yummy...!

Avril: Oh yes the surroundings are fantastic as well. May be next time I should stay longer so that i can explore more of the surrounding towns.

Jane: Oh yes I did.

vicky: You should make a visit again. I visited Bath 2 years ago, and when I visited it again this time, a lot has changed. There is a huge shopping mall gonna be ready soon and the new bus interchange will be next to it.

Beautiful photo, of both sky and reflections on the water! What a great place!
I checked out your recent post on SWF too - and I simply loved your shot of Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol! Great perspective on that one!

I am a little late taking the tour - so thanks a lot for visiting me!
Valkyrien    Mon, 04 May 2009 19:51:07 +0800
Any idea what kind of fish could be found in this river?
Per Stromsjo    Wed, 06 May 2009 16:59:01 +0800
So peaceful and scenic. I've always wondered why all visitors to the UK want to go to Bath - it doesn't look as impressive from the train!
J    Thu, 07 May 2009 15:42:28 +0800
Per Stromsjo: That's a very good question. I've to look into that. That question has never came up before. Thanks for visiting.

J: Initially when I first arrived, I have similar thoughts, but I guess it is popular, and true enough if you walk around, the beauty will explain it all. However, I think there are more beautiful places in the north of England.
Alexander    Thu, 07 May 2009 23:06:55 +0800
That's beautiful. I wish I could go there soon.

Thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come back tomorrow for more of the Keukenhof series!
