Hort Park And Surroundings

Introduced to me on Alicesg blog, I decided I should take a visit to Hort Park. This is an interesting concept park that incorporates ideas for transforming the concrete jungle in most cities into greener areas.

Then, since the weather was good, and the sky was clear and sunny, I also did a little detour to Henderson Waves. Look at the stunning architecture of this bridge. On the floor on each section of the bridge, it even tells you how high above sea level are you.

The photo immediately above shows us that I was 60.49 metres above sea level!

For more sky watching, enjoy the beautiful skies from all over the world at Sky Watch Friday

Beautiful park, I did see those posts from Alice.

It is a beautiful park, Alex. The tree looks so happy facing the clouds with their branches spread out!

That's indeed a great motif for the park! The rate at which the greens are being chopped these days is alarming... Nice photos!

Glad you visited the Hort Park and Henderson Waves. I am sure you are surprised at how Singapore has changed. The next big thing of course must be the Universal Studio. Happy Smiley
