Satay Adventure

Satay: Pork on skewers

One of the things on my "Things to do" list was to satisfy my Satay craving. This time I've ordered some pork Satay, and the thing I like about this store is they have prepared it the traditional way! Happy Smiley The sauce on the right is the Satay peanut sauce. And of course how can I miss the pressed rice to go along with this dish. Yummy. Winking Smiley

I had this wonderful dish at an Ang Mo Kio hawker centre; Block 453a, unit #01-215

I haven't got a clue about this (a fact which rarely stops me!Winking Smiley but it does sound and look mega-yummy.

Oooo, Hubby and sons love Satay so much especially with the satay sauce....yummy. I prefer the ketupat and dip them in the sauce.

Per Stromsjo: Thanks and yeaps it was fantastic. A brief description of Satays are marinaded meat on skewers (I do not know what they are marinated with, but it taste a little sweet). The ones I had were Pork. Usually they comes either as Pork, Chicken, or Mutton.

Alicesg: I like both of them. Ah... that is how you spell "ketupat". I was searching for it but I gave up and used pressed rice instead. Shame... Opps! Smiley

Mo: Oh have you been to Singapore lately? Well, now you know. Happy Smiley
