Sunrise From The Train

Sun rising taken on the train

How often do we see a sunrise on the train and just miss it when we reach out for our cameras? I've got it this time. Sadly the windows aren't really clean.

Nice one even with the dirty windows! The reflected light from the train even manages to look part of the sunrise.

Wonderful shot.
This is the way a journey begin ,with a view out a dirty window. Now I want to travel even more!

Welcome to my world of drive by shooting - sometimes the windows are grimy and outrageously dirty, yet that does not stop me from shooting.

It's pretty though.

Lovely capture. Great timing!!!

When I was in New York, I got so frustrated with the nastiness of the windows. I love capturing moments by taking pics along the way... the windows would have none of that!

I'm glad you were able to get this photo. It is fantastic.

hahaha... Thanks for all the kind comments. I guess the smudges on the windows didn't really matter for most of us. Very Happy Smiley

This is a very interesting photo of the sunrise.
When I was younger I just loved taking the train ... I still do ... maybe when I'm older I'll do some big train journey! From Portugal to the Far East ...

What's that odd, pointy structure bottom right? Looks like a flag pole which is considering becoming an antenna of sorts but hasn't quite made its mind up.

I have the same problem, too, with drive by photography, my windshield is not always clean.

Nice silhouettes!
