Missed My Flight And Stuck In The Capital

My flight was delayed in Singapore for an hour. Three police cars had come before we were allowed onboard the plane. Then, I missed my connecting flight, and the amazing airline put us in a five-star hotel in the capital until our rescheduled flight. Surprisingly, I woke up to this pretty sunrise. Can you guess where in the world I was stuck this time?

Giant Metal Balls Got Me Excited!

Been to somewhere warm and saw some gigantic metal balls. For those of you who have been following my blog will know that over the past few weeks I have been travelling. I have been to a tropical location, saw some humongous metal balls that got me jumping like a kid, doing cartwheels, and snapping away. I love those reflections and clear blue skies. Where did I visit?

Have Faith In Yourself

Sometimes life is more complicated than it needs to be. It is illusion and perception that distract us. Often, to prevent a rare occasion from happening, people’s daily activities will be affected.

Walking to downtown Pittsburgh through Fort Pitt Bridge, from Duquesne Incline: Do Not Enter and Wrong Way

Take a look at the above photo. To warn a rare incident of a motorist from driving/riding the wrong direction from occurring, many precautions have been put into placed. However, if you walk or cycle into downtown Pittsburgh from Duquesne Incline through the Fort Pitt Bridge, there will be lots of signs informing you to ”Do Not Enter” and you are heading the “Wrong Way”. Amused Smiley Let’s step back and look at it from the bigger picture.

Pirates at Shore

Scarborough: Pirates Ship Framed

Is that pirates I am seeing? Let us zoom in to have a closer look.

Scarborough: Pirates Ship at Sea

Oh, my! It is really a pirate ship. Quick, warn the rest about it!

Scarborough: Pirates Ship at Shore

Pirates...! It seems like the pirates chose a day with good weather to invade. I like the white t-shirt the boy is wearing. It prints "Keep Calm and Call Out".

Oh no, the pirates have set foot on land!

I guess modern day pirates have different needs... Happy Smiley

Confusing Signs At Tram Stations

Signs at Metrolink tram stations

Can you decipher these signs on the notice board at Metrolink tram stations in Manchester?

To me these signs are very confusing and they can be interpreted in 2 ways:

  1. Both wheelchair users and prams should race to the boarding point?
  2. If the arrows in the signs represent the direction users of wheelchair and prams should head, then explain the next photo.

Conflicting signs

Either way, I'm confused. Err... prams and wheelchair users should get out of the trams so that others can board? Please don't read this the wrong way; I'm not against prams or wheelchair users. I'm just trying to interpret the signs here. I would like to hear what are your interpretations?
