Brightening Up A Moody Week

Downtown Pittsburgh under a moody sky. This photo was taken from David L. Lawrence Convention Center, towards 10th Street and Liberty Ave.

This week is a stress week for me. Too many datelines and I am juggling between too many projects. So I am blogging to take my mind off the work. But then, I also realised that I have a mental block of what to blog. Maybe you all can help me by telling me what you wish to read more.

Second Oldest Steel Bridge In The United States

In today's post, I walked across the second oldest steel bridge in the United States.

Hello everyone, I am back blogging from Pittsburgh again. Join me to explore the magnificent steel work of the Smithfield Street Bridge.

The pedestrian walkways on each side of the bridge are wide enough to accommodate a family of three.

Missed My Flight And Stuck In The Capital

My flight was delayed in Singapore for an hour. Three police cars had come before we were allowed onboard the plane. Then, I missed my connecting flight, and the amazing airline put us in a five-star hotel in the capital until our rescheduled flight. Surprisingly, I woke up to this pretty sunrise. Can you guess where in the world I was stuck this time?

Giant Metal Balls Got Me Excited!

Been to somewhere warm and saw some gigantic metal balls. For those of you who have been following my blog will know that over the past few weeks I have been travelling. I have been to a tropical location, saw some humongous metal balls that got me jumping like a kid, doing cartwheels, and snapping away. I love those reflections and clear blue skies. Where did I visit?

8 Hours In JFK Airport

Many of us have been in this situation where we have to catch a connecting flight and transit at an airport for a few hours. But what do you do if it is an 8 hours transit? Airport lounges or exiting the airport to visit the city are alternatives. During my transit, I didn't want to get stuck in a jam at New York, going through the security again and the airport lounges in terminal 8 at JFK were packed due to construction going on in other lounges. So I hop from gates to gates, cafes to cafes and spent my time capturing sunset shots.
